Lieutenant Alexander Lorimer Miller

Alexander Miller was born in Berwick upon Tweed the son of Alexander Lorimer Miller and Jane H Miller.

 

Alexander Miller was initiated into St. David's 393 in January 1912. His profession was given as an auctioneer. He as the son of Alexander Lorimer Miller and Jane Miller and was educated at Berwick Grammar School. He was travelling in the South Seas when war broke out and enlisted in the 10th Australian Infantry (AIF). He took part in the Arras Offensive. He died on the 8th May 1917 aged 26 from wounds sustained at Bullecourt. He is buried in Grevilliers British Cemetery, Pas de Calais France.
